Monket Cottage is the perfect retreat nestled in the breath-taking landscapes of Ferndale, North Yorkshire. We're a bunch of passionate individuals who came together to create an exceptional self-catering holiday experience.
Monket Cottage is on a hillside with breath-taking panoramic views. You'll have a stunning view of the Yorkshire Moors National Farm from your bedroom window every morning. It'll feel like you're living in a picturesque dream.
In addition to the jaw-dropping scenery, our little corner of paradise is also called Daffodil Valley. The valley comes alive in spring with a mesmerising show of wild daffodils, attracting visitors from near and far. It's a spectacle you won't want to miss, and here at Monket Cottage, you'll have a front-row seat to Mother Nature's floral extravaganza.
We take immense pride in offering a stay that exudes luxury, tranquillity, and that home-away-from-home feeling. Our team has refurbished the cottage to a modern, stylish standard while preserving its cosy rural charm. From plush furnishings to state-of-the-art amenities, we've ensured every corner of Monket Cottage exudes comfort and elegance.
Monket Cottage officially opened its doors in April 2023, but the story of our venture began a few years earlier. In 2020, we stumbled upon this gem of a property and were immediately captivated by its potential. The thought of sharing this slice of heaven with travellers seeking respite from their busy lives fuelled our passion to turn it into a holiday haven.
The renovation journey was no small feat. Our dedicated team worked tirelessly to breathe new life into the cottage while preserving its rustic charm. We aimed to create a space where guests could unwind, make memories, and forge unforgettable experiences.
At Monket Cottage, we believe that a holiday is not just about a place to stay; it's about creating cherished moments with your loved ones. Whether you're seeking a romantic escape, a family adventure, or a friend's retreat, our cottage is ready to welcome you with open arms, from exploring the natural beauty of the Yorkshire Moors to sipping hot cocoa by the fireplace, every moment at Monket Cottage promises to be unique.
If you're yearning for a vacation that combines breath-taking views, luxury accommodations, and warm hospitality, look no further. Monket Cottage is here to fulfil your holiday dreams. Book your stay today.
